I’m used to shooting interviews, b-roll and actuality with small crews or alone. I’m happy to direct (as I have on magazine shows such as BBC Tech Now, where the entire production team for the segment might be me and the presenter!) or work as a camera op in a team.
I’ve conducted hundreds of interviews, from senior royalty to Olympic gold medallists, eminent scientists to politicians and I’ve got good material from many less-experienced contributors. I’m happy to do the research or to interview as directed. I’m reasonably knowledgeable about tech, modern music, martial arts, politics and economics, but for other topics, I have access to a great network of Cambridge academics and the internet!
I own Canon C400, C300 mk3 and C70 kits with numerous lenses, plus action cams, slider, gimbals (Ronin R3 mini, R4 Pro and 4D) and a drone. I have numerous bicolour and RGBW COB, tube and panel lights with the necessary grip equipment. There’s a 4mx2.5m freestanding green screen (or white/black background), product shot tent, Easyrig, Cinesaddle, 10-channel Sound Devices mixer/recorder, various boom mics and around 15 radio mics with the appropriate licence.
